EVERYBODY SHOULD READ THIS!!!!!!!!!
REBLOG…IT CAN SAVE A LIFE OR TWO!!!
WARNING: Some knew about the red light on cars, but not Dialing 112.
An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren’s parents have always told her to never pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called, 112 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren’t, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.

Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.
I never knew about the 112 Cell Phone feature. I tried it on my AT&T phone & it said, “Dialing Emergency Number.”
Especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going on to a safe place.

*Speaking to a service representative at Bell Mobility confirmed that 112 was a direct link to State trooper info. So, now it’s your turn to let your friends know about “Dialing, 112”

You may want to send this to every Man, Woman & Youngster you know; it may well save a life.

This applies to ALL 50 states
PLEASE PASS ALONG TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY, IT CAN SAVE A LIFE….

Works in Canada too guys, just tried it!

Reblogging for anyone of the feminine preference that follow me. (Or for general knowledge.)

Reblogging for ANYONE because anyone can get murdered on the side of the road

Here’s what Snopes says: [x]

If you are a writer, and you have a novel idea that you are excited about writing, write it. Don’t go on message boards and ask random Internet denizens whether or not something is allowed. … Who is the writer here? YOU ARE. Whose book is it? YOUR BOOK. There are no writing police. No one is going to arrest you if you write a teen vampire novel post Twilight. No one is going to send you off to a desert island to live a wretched life of worm eating and regret because your book includes things that could be seen as cliché.

If you have a book that you want to write, just write the damn thing. Don’t worry about selling it; that comes later. Instead, worry about making your book good. Worry about the best way to order your scenes to create maximum tension, worry about if your character’s actions are actually in character; worry about your grammar. DON’T worry about which of your stylistic choices some potential future editor will use to reject you, and for the love of My Little Ponies don’t worry about trends. Trying to catching a trend is like trying to catch a falling knife—dangerous, foolhardy, and often ending in tears, usually yours.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t pay attention to what’s getting published; keeping an eye on what’s going on in your market is part of being a smart and savvy writer. But remember that every book you see hitting the shelves today was sold over a year ago, maybe two. Even if you do hit a trend, there’s no guarantee the world won’t be totally different by the time that book comes out. The only certainty you have is your own enthusiasm and love for your work. …

If your YA urban fantasy features fairies, vampires, and selkies and you decide halfway through that the vampires are over-complicating the plot, that is an appropriate time to ax the bloodsuckers. If you decide to cut them because you’re worried there are too many vampire books out right now, then you are betraying yourself, your dreams, and your art.

If you’re like pretty much every other author in the world, you became a writer because you had stories you wanted to tell. Those are your stories, and no one can tell them better than you can. So write your stories, and then edit your stories until you have something you can be proud of. Write the stories that excite you, stories you can’t wait to share with the world because they’re just so amazing. If you want to write Murder She Wrote in space with anime-style mecha driven by cats, go for it. Nothing is off limits unless you do it badly.

And if you must obsess over something, obsess over stuff like tension and pacing and creating believable characters. You know, the shit that matters. There are no writing police. This is your story, no one else’s. Tell it like you want to.

SO, apparently we have Ridge to “thank” for the recent plot of Yoglabs…
Just stew on that for a while.

Who do you think writes Yoglabs? The Testificates?

Yes, we did think that. We couldn’t imagine anyone so heartless as to pretty much drive a stake through the hearts of the viewers… Oh. I suppose we didn’t think hard enough…

Now you know better.

Zoey, do you want to build a snowman?

zoeyp:

Rythian? (knocking)
Do you wanna craft a golem?
I’m sure we can find a head
All you care about is dragons
and endermuns
you just wanna see them dead
But look at all your buddies
See what you’ve got
Nobody has to diiiiiie
Do you wanna craft a golem?
We can even name him Gilbert.

Gilbert’s dead, Zoey.

Okay, fine.

(Knocking)
Do you wanna craft a golem?
Or ride our dino through the town?
I’m sure that Cabertown is missing you
and look the band and pets and Fishton’s still around
(Don’t worry, Teep)
The whole world is our oyster
And there’s much to do,
we can travel through space and time!
(Tic-Tock, Tic-Tock, Tic-Tock, Tic-Tock)

(Knocking)
Rythian,
You’re still set on violence
All you want is to kill the queen,
That’s not all life is, there’s smiles too
And I still miss when you… took me adventuring
I don’t want her to hurt you,
Think of me and Tee.
I know something else to do
Do you wanna craft a Golem?

Why in the series did you choose to like mushrooms? And how did rythian choose his epic name? How did you get into yogscast?

zoeyp:

i didn’t choose to like mushrooms, it’s mush-society’s expectation of me and my birthright.

rythian is a portmanteau of rhyhorn, his favorite pokemon, and tia, his favorite twin from the hit show ‘sister sister’.

they managed to capture a rainbow in a bottle, and when they tried to make a wish by rubbing the side, i popped out. upon seeing my positivity powers they decided to enslave me and use my gifts for evilABSOLUTE DEFINITELY GOOD THINGS
