It’s a shame Halloween is over darlings, because I just found how to make the most perfect, realistic looking fake wounds and bruises! The best part is, you can do it yourself with the staples that just about everyone has in their make up kit.

FAKE BRUISE:
Start by applying a small amount of black eyeshadow to the area where you want to create the bruise. The trick is to apply enough so that it’s visible, but not so much that it’s overpowering. You have a couple of extra layers to do and you want to be able to see these!
Next, apply a layer of purple eyeshadow over the top of the black. This will make the bruise seem more realistic. Then, take a brown eyeshadow and dust it over the top of the purple and black. This will help blend the bruise into your skin tone and make it look as though it’s started to heal. That’s it!

FAKE HEAD WOUND:
Start by creating a thick, jagged line with a creamy black eyeliner pencil where you want your wound to be. I chose my forehead. Make it as big as you want it to be, but there are a couple of layers extra which will make it appear bigger.
Next, take a dark red lipstick and apply this over the eyeliner. Keep it dark in the middle, but blend it over the edges. Dust a bright pink blush around the blended edges of the lipstick, and blot the line between the two with a tissue to blend. This will make the skin look tender, just like a real wound! The final step is to take a clear lip gloss and dot it over the top of where your eyeliner is. This gives it that gooey, gory effect you’ll be wanting!
