So since we can’t expect any support from Tumblr (they are recommending post of the movie), I made my own anti 50SoG logo. I used the purple ribbon because it stands for domestic violence awareness.
Having depression does NOT mean you are sad 100% of the time.
Having an eating disorder does NOT mean you have to be skinny
Having social anxiety does NOT mean can’t ever talk to people.
Having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder does NOT mean you are constantly cleaning.
Stereotypes of these serious mental illnesses and many others need to stop.
The fact that a woman who appreciates herself and loves every inch of her body and her mind is perceived as arrogant and vain whereas a woman who struggles with self esteem issue is more or less the norm and seen as modest clearly shows how society is trying to belittle woman and trick them into thinking they somehow have to feel inadequate all the time
