LMFAO, I can’t stand her!

Hillary (2016): We’re gonna pull together and stand up against those powerful forces! And I always get a little chuckle when I hear my opponent talking about doing it–well, I don’t know where he was when I was trying to get health care in 93′ and ‘94–

[minor cheers and applause]

Hillary (1993): –be very grateful, for the leadership that many people are giving to this great reform effort, and I’m grateful that congressman Sanders would join us today, from Vermont–

Reminders for LGBTA+ people of faith:

  • Your orientation is not a punishment.
  • Your orientation is not a sin.
  • Your orientation does not need fixing.
  • Your gender identity is not an illness.
  • Your gender identity does not go against God’s will.
  • Your gender identity does not need to be “cured.”

God made you how you are for a reason. God loves and accepts you, today, tomorrow, and forever, just the way you are.

sososo important.

people are allowed to leave you.
people are allowed to break up with you.
people are allowed to love you but not want to be with you.
people are allowed to not want to talk to you.
people are allowed to put their happiness before yours and do what makes them happy even if it does not include you.
people are allowed to move on from you.
people are allowed to fall in love with someone else.
people are allowed to not want you in their life.
people are allowed to do whatever they want to better themselves and become the version of themselves they are trying so hard to love.
don’t be bitter towards someone who is only trying to be happy.

I feel like this POV does not get enough voice.

i see lots of posts that serve as self-reminders that it’s okay to prioritize your own happiness, safety, and comfort and it’s important not to forget that other people are allowed to do that, too

@boys who have to wear bras because binding hurts too much regardless of the fact that you’re doing it right: i love you, you’re so important
@boys whose chests are too big and have to wear bras because you can’t bind: i love you, you’re so important
@boys who don’t mind/like wearing bras: i love you, you’re so important
@boys who can’t bind because you haven’t come out yet it’d potentially put you in danger: i love you, you’re so important

@boys who wear bras: please don’t think it makes you anything less, your chest is a man’s chest and i believe in you & love you so so much

being a female means avoiding eye contact with men to not draw attention to yourself as a potential target

Being a male mean avoiding eye contact with women because they might think we are ugly

hmm yes being a target of abuse is equivalent to thinking you’re ugly

this is literally it. male idea of oppression is women not being sexually available to them when they want them to be. that’s why whiny internet men cry so much about the friend zone. this is literally it for them.

“Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” – Margaret Atwood

awfully relevant.
