There are people on this site that will beg for forgiveness for things they did and said in the past because “I’ve matured since then”, “I was being influenced by someone else”, and “I’m not the same person now”, but who will then turn around and condemn others for even-less-recent occurrences, including targeting celebrities for things that happened decades ago, during entirely different social and political landscapes.
