AJ and Pythos. Please clean up your mess. RP is all over now. I’m not sure why it is fair we have to clean up for creatively spawned in gas cloud.
Here’s the thing.
You want help cleaning up? Fine. Gladly. I offered compensation and we made a point of targeting hallways rather than bedrooms or machines. Ask me for help rebuilding instead of whinging.
You want to retaliate? Get revenge? Break my Facility? Be my guest. But don’t be a baby when there is a negative reaction. Escalating that conflict is your choice and your price to pay.
See, back in the day, before there was any rp, this is how things were. AJ nuked us, we cleaned up and moved on. We flooded AJCO, AJ nuked us again. We knew what the consequences were.
AJ was in creative, we were in survival.
Oh and we also didn’t trashtalk each other in game and then act surprised when it bit us in the butt.

See I think what they’re talking about is the fact that this wasn’t mentioned beforehand, and it took everyone but you and AJ by surprise. Nobody was prepared for it and everyone was just a bit overwhelmed. Did it effect anything major? No, you’re considerate: you wouldn’t just destroy the whole thing, we understand. I think we’re all just a little sore we didn’t get a “hey we’re going to break stuff but it’s totally RP related and won’t damage anything terribly.” And, to my (scant) knowledge, we didn’t do much to deserve this sort of retaliation. Yes, it’s part of the story arc, but again, a warning would’ve been nice.
And about Hegger’s character: that’s all it is. It’s in Heggers-the-character’s personality to be sarcastic and brash. Heg-the-person is not trying to offend you, I can tell, he’s just in character and defending his crew.
But it’s all behind us, okay? I think everyone should just take a second to breathe, relax, stay calm. It’s getting taken care of, no serious harm done. From what I read, it was hallways only. And again, everyone is here to help with the damage. It’s in the past, the story arc is moving along. We’re all okay.
We’d have given warning if we planned to actually do some damage or hurt anyone (intentionally. Krauzer and Blue shouldn’t have died and if they lost anything I’ll gladly replace it). But this was meant to have some shock value and be unexpected.
It’s not a nice thing to do and frankly I’d have been happier if we’d given warning, but that was a lapse in judgment and planning on our part. For that I apologize. However, it’s nothing more than things that have happened in the past, several times, to many of us.
It is and has always been the case that we will repair any damage or at least offer lost materials back. We’ve made this pretty clear in the past and there’s nothing to whine about.
And as for heggers, well. I could argue with that. I could argue with that a lot. This isn’t the first time his attitude has been problematic and I doubt it will be the last.
Shit talking is shit talking. There’s a difference between defending your people and mocking, throwing insults, and generally just being extremely rude and unpleasant.
I suggest everyone drops it and takes inventory of what’s missing so that I can replace it.
I understand you and AJ both are very gracious with the compensation of lost/damaged things. It’s great that you are, too, and I respect you enough not to need a response like this in defense. It was only a lapse in judgement that you didn’t warn us. That was all we needed to hear, and I apologize for any harsh tones I picked up on my last response: it’s not my intention to sound argumentative or offensive. That’s the last thing I want out of a simple misunderstanding. I’m okay now that I know there was just something small that was overlooked.
But to just mention something, (though I hate to mention/talk about someone without them present. or sound so motherly) if you have a problem with Heggers’ character, I can only recommend contacting him directly. Talk about it, I’m sure he’s willing to listen.
But other than this, yeah, I think we should drop it. We can all learn from this and put it behind us.
