You mean how the powerful mentor ends up with an new and inexperienced apprentice when she falls from the sky and teams up with a goal to learn things about the mentor’s discipline, and maybe get revenge on the way? Then the apprentice gets involved way over her head with the opposing discipline and her arm(s) pay the price? And a big catastrophe happens and they have to start over from scratch? And afterwards the brief arguments they had are forgotten and they team up resolved to combine both disciplines together?
