So I saw something similar to this for terrorists in relation to all Muslims earlier, and realised that in many ways, I, just as many others on tumblr, am pretty fed up with all the generalisations and assumptions that are made just because of the way I happen to be. Sure, I may be a straight, cis, white, somewhat-privileged male on tumblr, but it doesn’t mean that I’m automatically an enemy of anyone who isn’t. Just because I don’t fall into any part of LGBTQIA* doesn’t mean I can’t support a cause. I’m not trying to victimise myself in any way here, I’m merely saying that I’m tired of being labeled and made out to be the bad guy simply because I happen to be something that, whether I like it or not, I can’t change. It’s stereotyping, plain and simple, and most of the time it just isn’t true. Sure, I’ll probably get some hate for this, but everyone’s entitled to an opinion. I’m simply asking that you don’t judge me or what I believe before you know who I am.
